Our Scope of Work (SOW) is a document we prepare after our initial consultation.
A SOW is where we guide you through the stages of launching a fashion line or developing a garment, focusing on: design, production, and business strategy.

After an initial consultation, if you choose to work with us, we develop an initial scope of work personalized to your company's needs; along with an NDA for your protection.

Discussing an initial concept roadmap.
-
Identifying the key resources (designers, patternmakers, fabric sourcing) required.

Step 4. Sourcing
Sourcing is one of the most important aspects of apparel making. We are experts in:
-
Helping clients source fabrics, hardware and trims that align with their design and vision, considering factors like sustainability, price, durability, and organic composition.

Identifying reliable suppliers or mills that offer the best quality to fit your budget.

Step 7. Sample Adjustments
At this stage, we take feedback and learnings from fitting sessions to:
-
Make adjustments to the sample.
-
Collaborating with the pattern maker to revise the patterns and the sample sewer to modify the garment.
Cost Variables:
-
Alteration costs: Additional fees for reworking the patterns or samples.
-
Labor costs for revised sample cutting and sewing.
(NOTE: This is a generalized scope of work offering general information about the apparel process).
Step 2. Design Process
Design is where ideas become tangible. After establishing the right scope, we widen our collaboration with the fashion designer to:
-
Translate ideas into sketches and technical designs.
-
Create final tech pack as needed
-
Gain feedback and suggestions on trends, functionality, and market appeal.

Step 5. Sample Process (Cutting & Sewing)
Once we have materials sourced to go along with our patterns and pattern card, we continue with:
-
Finding and hiring cutters who can precisely cut fabric based on the patterns.
-
Coordinating with a sample sewing service to create prototypes of the garment.
